A table inspired by DNA? Sweet.

via

I got my new Elle Decor yesterday and almost drooled onto the pages when I saw this table.  The Watson Table by Paul Loebach.  It's absolutely stunning.  I love the colors, the proportions, how the legs are linked to one another and, most of all, how the legs are shaped at the bottom.  His description (found here) is pretty interesting.  He gives a brief explanation of the process to get the right materials to create the table.  Also, kind of adorable that he named it after James Watson...the guy who discovered the shape of DNA.  I'm sure he wasn't shooting for adorable when he named it.

Check out some of his other work on his website.
